Management support

The integration and collaboration of designers and engineers must be a conscious and constant choice by the management leading the development team.

If you create the conditions necessary for a tight-knit team and make sure to support a collaborative culture, you have every chance of success.

One day you’ll walk into your work space only to hear one of your engineers argue for the importance of brand strategy alignment. Or you’ll catch a team of designers in a heated discussion about the best way to mitigate injection moulding flow lines.

That kind of conversation means you’re doing something right!
