When you’ve found the right people, you’ll want to consider how to bring them together:
People rub off on each other all the time. If you physically mix designers with engineers in your workplace, they will effortlessly gain a better understanding of each other´s fields in no time.
I learned a lot from just sitting within earshot from a bunch of engineers. Listening to their conversations, understanding what causes them to worry, getting in to their way of reasoning and picking up on terms and expressions.
Eventually, you reach the point where you feel equipped to cut in and join the discussion.
