Get funding for innovative ideas with Horizon 2020

Equipped with a budget of almost EUR 80 billion (600 billion DKK), Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation Program ever.

By coupling science and innovation, Horizon 2020 is forming an innovation-friendly environment that promotes great ideas to be turned into products and services faster.

What is the goal of Horizon 2020?

Horizon 2020 is a new approach to reinforce EU competitiveness and productivity, to market innovation and to strengthen the EU’s global position in research, innovation and technology.

Excellent science, industrial leadership and the focus on society it’s challenges are the 3 pillars that form the framework under with 2020 is operating.

Who can participate?

Horizon 2020 is providing easy access to funding for every institution, university, small and
medium-sized enterprise, which is EU-based and is in line with the Horizon 2020 pillar framework.The group1-1

Proposals are selected on the basis of scientific excellence within these industries.

How to get funding?

The application process is simplified by cutting in red tape.

After submitting your proposal online, your application will be evaluated by experts. If all Innovation quoterequirements are met, a grant agreement will be drafted, together with each participant.

The agreement constitutes an outline of the project by declaring among others, research and innovation activities, the budget and the duration.
